“I’m often asked what my favourite cruise is and respond without hesitation: the Italian Riviera or Virgin Islands – especially aboard one of SeaDream’s two chic yachts. In large part due to the professional and nuanced service, there’s a palpable determination that passengers should feel part of an exclusive club. As you would expect the cuisine is accomplished and inventive while the onboard vibe is one of unhurried sensitivity.”

SeaDream are committed to preserving the environment in which they sail and the newest addition to the fleet, SeaDream Innovation, will use cutting edge techniques to do just that. The new ship will have a four-megawatt hour battery which allows for silent and emission-free sailing for up to three hours. This will be used alongside diesel engines and the reduced impact on the surrounding environment allows SeaDream to sail responsibly to places such as the Norwegian Fjords.
In addition, wasted heat energy will be converted to electricity where possible for extra power on SeaDream Innovation. The ship will also use port power to reduce the pollution created in ports.
Across the rest of the fleet, they are looking into electricity usage, the food they use and all the ways to build a sustainable future too.
