SH Minerva

SH Minerva is Swan Hellenic’s boutique expedition ship, purpose-built in 2021 for remote polar and off-the-beaten-path destinations. Carrying just 152 guests in 76 Scandinavian-styled cabins and suites, she offers an intimate, yacht-like atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor viewing spaces for wildlife and scenery.

Built by Helsinki Shipyard as part of the Vega class, SH Minerva is around 113 m long and Polar Class 5 ice-rated, with an ice-strengthened hull and large stabilisers for smoother sailing in Antarctica and the Arctic. Expedition tools include Zodiacs, tenders and kayaks for landings and close-up exploration. Onboard, guests enjoy a relaxed, 5-star environment with observation lounges, fine dining, spa facilities and an emphasis on enrichment and discovery.
