Riverside Luxury Cruises offer a sophisticated and enriching travel experience, blending high-end accommodations, fine dining, cultural excursions, and exceptional service to create memorable river cruise adventures.
Founded in 2022 as part of the luxury Seaside Hotel Collection, which has been dominating luxury travel for the past 40 years, Riverside operates three ships, Mozart, Ravel and Debussy, previously owned by Crystal Cruises.
Sailing the Rhine, Rhone and Danube, Riverside consider themselves the all-suite, all-inclusive, ultra-luxury river cruising equivalent of Silversea or Regent Seven Seas. Two further ships, Bach and Mahler, are chartered but will join the Riverside fleet in the near future.
With one crew member per suite, plus personal butler service in every suite, guests are bound to experience high quality service that stands way above other river cruise operators. Ravel and Debussy carry just 110 guests whilst Mozart carries up to 162, making her a slightly more spacious double width ship sailing the Danube.

Riverside Luxury Cruises include more than five dining options — far more than you’re likely to find on mainstream river cruise lines!
On every ship you’ll have access to a range of casual and fine dining in the Bistro, Vista Grill, Waterside, The Vintage Room and 24-hour room service. On Riverside Mozart you’ll also have the pleasure of dining in the Marketplace and Blue.
Marketplace is a buffet-style restaurant open for three meals per day, including a more formal 7-course evening dinner. Bistro is a chic restaurant offering an imaginative, quirky take on tapas, ideal for those who enjoy lighter bites and more casual dining.
If it’s classic comfort food you’re after like burgers, wraps and pasta salads, head to Blue between 12-6pm. Fancy freshly grilled scampi and a glass of Riesling on the sun deck? Just head to the Vista Bar and Grill for a light bite — they even host BBQs on select sailings too, weather dependent of course!
At the opposite end of the spectrum are Riverside’s fine dining venues, Waterside and The Vintage Room. Waterside serves a la carte in the evening and takes inspiration from the Danube with its ever-changing menus and wine choices.
The Vintage Room is a more exclusive venue offering private dining. Experience fine dining at its best with a bespoke menu and exclusive vintage wines served by the Head Sommelier. Enjoy feasting on unbeatable cuisine in an elegant setting, the perfect way to end your day of exploring Europe’s beautiful waterways.
Onboard accommodation
When it comes to their all-suite accommodation, Riverside’s motto is “to sleep is to live”. The ships in the Riverside Luxury Cruises fleet feature various categories of suites, each tailored to different preferences and needs. The suite categories typically include:
- Entry level suites are Melody or Harmony Suites (name depends on the ship) and they are approximately 220 sq.ft. These spacious suites are comfortable and cosy, offering solace and relaxation after days exploring in port. Symphony Suites are almost identical except for a floor-to-ceiling window which offers even more impressive views of the surrounding landscapes.
- Next up we have the Riverside Suites, very similar to the lead-in suites with the addition of a sliding window which can be lowered down to reveal the warmth of the sun and a cool river breeze. The equivalent of this suite aboard Riverside Ravel and Riverside Debussy is the Seahorse Suite.
- The Penthouse Suite, at more than 330 sq.ft., features additional space and comfort, including a walk-in wardrobe, sofa bed (so the suite sleeps up to 3 people) and a larger bathroom.
- Double the size of the Penthouse are some of the most luxurious suites you will find on any river cruise ship: The Mozart Suite, Ravel Suite and Debussy Suite. These spectacular accommodations range from 500 to 750 sq.ft. with the Mozart Suite aboard Riverside Mozart being the largest, due to the ship’s double width. Featuring spacious bathrooms with double vanity and rain shower, a living room complete with fireplace, coffee machine and mini-bar, and a panoramic balcony-window, these suites are absolutely stunning and will be sure to dazzle any discerning river cruiser.
- Top of the suite offerings, however, is the coveted Owner’s Suite. Ranging from 750 to 880 sq.ft., Riverside’s Owner’s Suites boast two bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating up to four guests. Soak in the marble bathtub as you sail, sip on Champagne brought by your personal butler and take advantage of complimentary laundry, ironing and limousine transfers which aren’t available to anyone else on board. This is pure luxury.
Spa, health and wellness
Riverside’s fleet offers a secluded retreat for guests to indulge in spa treatments, take a dip in the jacuzzi or swim against a counter-current in the pool. On board Riverside Mozart, you’ll also find a sauna and steam room for added levels of relaxation. Wellness is taken seriously by Riverside Luxury Cruises and guests can book salon treatments, sports massages, facials, reflexology appointments and more.
