Sustainability

Regent is part of the NCL group of cruiselines and together they produce a yearly Sustainability Report which outlines their accomplishments as an overall company when it comes to sustainability and the environment.

Their Sail & Sustain programme focuses on increasing sustainable sourcing, minimises waste in landfills, investing in emerging technologies and reducing CO2 emissions.

They are the first cruise company to join the Ocean Conservancy’s Trash Free Seas Alliance to support a world with waterways, beaches and oceans free of plastic waste.

They also recently launched their largest ever fundraising campaign, Hope Starts Here, to reconstruct homes and communities on Caribbean islands impacted by hurricanes.

Last year the Group donated over 700 mattresses, 2 tonnes of clothing and toiletries, over 1,500 chairs and over 1,500 tables to various charities, reducing environmental impact but more importantly supporting local communities where they cruise.
