Fine dining is also available at no extra cost for suite guests and only €25pp for non-suite guests. Sustainability
Hurtigruten has begun its most ambitious sustainability initiative ever in its 130-year history: developing a ship with zero-emission propulsion tailored to the Norwegian coast by 2030. By 2025, in one of the largest environmental ship upgrades in Europe, Hurtigruten will have transformed the entire fleet with major environmental upgrades. The fleet will be more energy efficient, cutting CO2 emissions by approximately 25% and NOx by 80%, and three ships will be upgraded to hybrid power.
Hurtigruten has also said goodbye to single-use plastics and food waste, demonstrating to guests how simple lifestyle changes can have a huge impact on the planet.
