MS Spitsbergen

MS Spitsbergen draws its name from the Svalbard archipelago's crown jewel and largest island, Spitsbergen, which has been a part of Hurtigruten's history since 1896. With a capacity of only 220 passengers, the MS Spitsbergen is a small vessel specifically designed to navigate the remote Arctic region, including destinations such as Greenland and Iceland.

The ship's compact size and maneuverability allow it to navigate narrow fjords and ice-choked waters, providing unparalleled access to pristine Arctic regions. On board, guests can enjoy comfortable cabins, a single restaurant offering buffet-style meals and various expedition activities such as kayaking and Zodiac excursions.
