Dining and drinks onboard
Thoughtfully crafted menus by expert chefs can be enjoyed at all the dining venues across the ships. Made to suit the voyage you’re travelling, fresh local ingredients are used from the countries and ports you visit.
Restaurants on the ships include:
- The Terrace – this decked area at the front of your ship provides a delightful retreat where you can enjoy snacks and drinks. You’ll be able to enjoy the stunning views from this vantage point too.
- Flavours of Asia – when travelling as far afield as Southeast Asia, you want to ensure you try authentic cuisine and that’s exactly what you will get in Flavours of Asia. Evoking the sensory experience you’ll find when you visit the countries themselves, this culinary tour of the region will pick out local flavours and delicacies to tantalise you from pho bowls to white rose dumplings. Produce is sources locally with inspiration taken from each country. Dishes will be fresh, authentic and delicious.
- Reflections Restaurant – with open seating allowing for relaxed, social dining, you will savour a delightful range of Asian-inspired dishes and more traditional cuisine to end your day on a high.
- Lotus Lounge – found of Emerald Harmony, dark wooden tones and a muted colour palette promote relaxation throughout. Based on the Vista Deck you’ll be able to enjoy nibbles and drinks with a view.
Complementary wines and beer are included with your meals onboard, as are water, teas and coffees throughout the day. Of an evening, a sommelier will curate wines from local and regional vineyards to give you a taste of the places you see, paired with the meals you’re served.

Having the perfect sanctuary to retreat to is important to ensure you can recharge your batteries whilst on your holiday. That’s why Emerald offer four grades of suite and stateroom for you to choose from. Each one features an en suite with revitalising shower and luxury toiletries. Spa, Health and Wellness
A heated pool can be found on all ships for a refreshing swim to keep you active. There is also a walking track to keep you moving, as well as a putting green if that’s how you want to get your exercise in!

At night, the pool turns into a cinema! This innovative function sees the floor rise through the pool’s surface and a screen lowered from above! On selected evenings, you’ll see the cinema host iconic concerts performed by famous musicians from popular music to classical and jazz.
The putting green, activity area with a variety of games and sun deck are all great ways to pass the time whilst onboard.
The Horizon Lounge is where you will find the entertainment on selected evenings. Offering an authentic experience, you’ll be more immersed in the culture of the places you are seeing on your trip. Sustainability
Emerald Waterways improve their sustainability across a broad range of areas, which even extends to the art they feature onboard. In order to minimise their impact on the world around them, they have adopted a variety of environmental and sustainability initiatives including:
- Optimal electricity production with efficient power management systems and optimised generators
- LED lighting is used throughout to reduce electrical consumption
- Advanced HVAC (heating ventilation and air-conditioning) control systems are in place
- High-glazed glass is used throughout to reduce heat transfer and provide natural lighting, thus reducing energy usage
- Water purification systems are used so waste water will not pollute
- Noise and vibration reduction techniques have been implemented
