Hi, I’m Paul. Ever since single-digit age I’ve been blessed and fortunate to have travelled the world. My love of travel started as a child with simple camping and then cross-country road trips with family. Because my love for travel started at such a young age, I decided to make a career of it.
Upon graduating from college with a degree in Travel and Tourism, I embarked on a lifelong career that started as a waiter for a resort hotel in Maui, Hawaii. I then went on to work for major airlines, rental car companies, corporate and leisure travel companies, high-tech travel software companies, and ultimately - as a Cruise Connoisseur for Panache Cruises in the Luxury Cruise market!
From my humble beginnings staying at hostels while backpacking in Europe to now luxuriating with the finest top-end luxury cruise lines, I’ve found my career choice has been very worth while. With over 30 years in the industry, it’s a pleasure to see the younger generation of travel careerists, my colleagues, learn and grow alongside me and I’m very appreciative of the opportunity to work in such an exciting industry.
Bali, Indonesia - the beautiful tapestry of landscapes - rice paddy steps on the sides of mountains. Gorgeous beaches, blue water and extremely friendly people.
Going old-school — but Cunard's QE II (Queen Elizabeth II - now retired). Our Transatlantic from London to New York dressed in tuxedos while sipping fine wines on a glorious ocean liner. The modern day equivalent is Queen Mary 2.
My default preference is warm tropical areas of the globe. This would include a Mekong River cruise or South Pacific Islands. However the Pole regions are a close second. And yes, I will do the “plunge” into the frigid waters of Antarctica.
I love hiking and camping as well as a good round of golf. There’s nothing like quiet forest trails or gathering around the camp fire with good friends and family. Although my golf scores may not reflect PGA Tour numbers, just being out in the nature of a golf course is very pleasing to me.
